Target Achieved but more to come....
Last Saturday and Sunday was one of the most vigorous way to use my body to the extend..Smash Master 08 is one of the old traditional tournament for the Badminton Club of MMU Melaka. To achieve something in the traditional tournament brings great relieve and confident in oneself.
Neway, I joined two categories which is men singles and men doubles. Madly enough, I had to play 6 games which includes 3 single matches and 3 double matches on the very day of Saturday itself... To my satisfaction the time I put to train myself pays off.. I manage to get in to the Finals on Sunday..
Some of the actions are shown below in my final games..

Men singles final ( Me vs Dave )

Men doubles final ( Me & Ching Yong vs Dave and Nicky )
And the result is

The new way of seeking balance...

Karate is a martial art developed in the Ryukyu Islands from indigenous fighting methods and Chinese kenpō.It is primarily a striking art using punching, kicking, knee and elbow strikes and open-handed techniques such as knife-hands and ridge-hands. Grappling, locks, restraints, throws, and vital point strikes are taught in some styles.A karate practitioner is called a karateka.

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art and the national sport of South Korea. It is the world's most popular martial art in terms of number of practitioners.

Jeet Kune Do also Jeet Kun Do or JKD, is a martial arts system and philosophy developed by martial artist and actor Bruce Lee.

Muay Thai is a form of hard martial art practiced in large parts of the world, including Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries. Muay Thai has a long history in Thailand and is the country's national sport. Traditional Muay Thai practiced today varies significantly from the ancient art muay boran and uses kicks and punches in a ring with gloves similar to those used in Western boxing.

Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that ritualizes movement from martial arts, games, and dance. It was brought to Brazil from Angola some time after the 16th century in the regions known as Bahia, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and São Paulo. The game is marked by fluid acrobatic play, feints, and extensive use of sweeps, kicks, and headbutts. Less frequently used techniques include elbow-strikes, slaps, punches, and body throws.
And now I present to you the revolution of all.....

Tai Chi Seksi... I found this when I went to Batu Pahat to find Jason.... I guess their fighting art consist of "middle" fingering or "ass" butting. Probably infused with the playboy philosophy.

Genting...yet again...
I always like genting....I dono why but perhaps its the weather that attracts me there, or perhaps the scenery? Or maybe its the casino......I wonder...lol
But there's fun things you can do there.

For example, probably you could see ppl trying to enjoy posing themselves acting "scared" infront of the falling books.
Or you could join them in doing so.

Or maybe being FORCED to pose infront of the commercial board.

Showing of infront of the double decker

Which that includes me.

And also act cute infront of the nice cottage like stairs.

And drag me together in it ;p

Not to mention that to be proud to be able to imitate the patung exactly...You could see who is the best 1...

And also crash ourselves at CoffeeTerrace, the best buffet restaurant you can get in Genting and posing off to show our satisfactory...

But its a memorable and fun trip with my girlfriend ^^ Luv Ya!!!!

Yet again...another round..

Yes...there you go....a bundle of old junk used up shuttlecocks to be seen....White it may seem and useless it may been thought...But who the hell is crazy enough to paint this rubbishes into.....

Yes, the jalur gemilang..and YET AGAIN.... MMU MASTER OPEN 2008 organized by MMU Badminton Club Melaka broke another Malaysia Book of Records by using old shuttlecocks, arranged and fashioned it into a giant Malaysia Flag...Crazy enough? Yes, I agree...
However, the jalur gemilang is not the limelight of the event...Everybody was talking about it. Those who live in the badminton world would had known what is going on in town in Melaka....But why is everybody talking about it or waiting for it?

The committees of the event awaiting anxiously for the arrival of the forte of the event...

And finally it came....this van holds important people and that is.....

Chandra Wijaya...
And thats not all....I present to you....the legendary four from Indonesia...once reign terror in the badminton world.....

From left, Chandra Wijaya, Ricky Subagja, Rexy Mainaky and Tony Gunawan....And well....ignore the guy in red and the small kid in white. ( Our main sponsor and Rexy's son)
Well, this year MMU Master split up into two categories which was close and the open event. The close event cater and cover mostly for participants around Melaka. While the open category had attracted alot of state players around Malaysia and also from BAM itself and the arrival of the legendary four was part of the event acting as the exhibition match.

Rexy during warming up.

Chandra and Tony during warming up.

Ricky partnering Tony

and Rexy partnering Chandra...
Instead of a serious match between those four, well it turned out quite the opposite of what I expect. The match was exciting and funny at the same time lead by funny Rexy cracking up jokes time to time with his teammates and also the spectators around. But well in the end, they did show one hell of their fancy skills in badminton.

Rexy crash to the floor after the exhibition...
For some reason, the players display their rackets leaning it against the A-board. And I swear to god I did have the urge at that moment to grab all four rackets and run off.

Tony and me.

Chandra and me...

And yes....I'm this close to Rexy !!! Lying side by side with him.
Sory Ricky...I cant find the pics i took wif you :(
In the end...all well and end well...Congrats again to the organizers...

Anxiety + Stress + Tiredness = Mental Snap....

The last pic taken before the exam fever waves in.....

Well...3 weeks before the finals...everything was just so kinda carefree... Time seems to slow down in any activities I did allowing me to breath the air of comfort.
However.... 1 week before the exam......even though I may be doing this...

In no time I'm stuck by the exam fever with or without me realizing it which cause me to act this way...

Many things crush down into my brain like an carnivorous avalanche pushing my thinking and planning limit to the max...What to study, when to study, how to study and where to study...by the time I've figure 15% of the progress.....I'm already looking

like this.....
Well...but still.. there are things need to be done....There is no escaping...The only thing for me to do is to study and score the shit out of my papers even though I may end up..

like this....
Quote for someone:
Eshhh don't always say wrong word.. Make me have to run up and down to find wood.....Tired nehhhhh. Believe in yourself to score and the result will be there...Hope yourself for the best and the strong mentality will kick in.....Push yourself with the "eye of the tiger" and the confidence will roar in you...Heehee ^^
Gambate ya and good luck ohhhh !!!

Pic of the day... :P

Eye of the tiger....

This movie who acted by this guy that look like an idiot here acted.....inspired me to stay strong and fight for what you want and your dreams. Yes..he looks like an idiot but still inspires me....that is....cause his face was busted by boxers.Rocky....is an old movie back in the 70s..acted by SYLVESTER STALLONE who is a super star now and directed the movie himself. The story of the movie was wrote by him with the content of a boxer who willing to fight for himself to be the best among the best which was in parallel with his real life experience as a nobody who brave through lots of hardship to be what he is today. The quote of what he said in his latest sequel ( Rocky Balboa 2006) was the most inspiring to me...." In order to move forward...you must be willing to take the hits, that is how winning is done"....
The movie showed how he withstand all the vigorous training in order to stay on top of everyone. And because of that, I've began to hunger for achievement with the eye of the tiger...

First of all would be my body fitness...I began to start training AGAIN at gym and had been doing it weekly for alternate days on Mon,Wed and Fri.

Bench press, half squads, bicep curls etc. u name it I did it.

Even Mc.Donalds will go to gym after watching "Rocky" to improve his health instead of just standing outside the restaurant everyday.

I even bought weight lifting glove to enhance my determination. Of course its not the branded one like this "Harbinger" which may cost up to Rm100 or more depending on the quality..... I bought my gloves at "Fitness Concept" at Jaya Jusco with the price of Rm13.90.......
Ok.....I'm not "kiam"....alrite! Let me explain..... The reason I bought a low quality cheap glove rather than a better and expensive one is because I'm not going to be a hardcore weight lifter.......

and finally look like him......( Arnold)

Or even him.........(Bruce Lee)
Back then during 60 arena, I was disappointed with my lacking performance in my badminton game. Due to a long period of non physical training but only match plays, my fitness around the court is deteriorating. So I start off with weight training to built muscles for the game instead. So after being inspired by ROCKY....my main aim is to be like him....

Lin Dan from China...the reigning and still dominating world champion and Number 1 in the world....

Or him....our current Malaysia number 1 but rank 2nd from Lin Dan in the world....

and also last but not least, the almighty Taufik from Indonesia...Was a former world number 1 but still feared by the top ranking players around the world....
In order to be able to do what is he doing....

Of course I would need lots of practices and fitness building. Gymming was one of them and I have to start from scratch to built my fitness for the game, agility around the court and also mental strength to withstand the challenge.
It is not an easy task but high determination and discipline is needed to endure all this activites.... to give out.....

The final roar of winning a game.....
MMU Master Close is this weekend...wish me luck.... ROAR!!

60 Arena!!!
Finally I'm back....after a long and hectic schedule...I feel life in me again. Omg...the past few weeks was like a long damn war for me..I could have died from heart failure if I was weak. Neway...here is one of the event that I participated and helped out in the mid of my frantic days..
60 Arena.. one of the major event from MMU Badminton Club. The integer 60 was actually to represent 60 hours of non-stop badminton playing in the court itself. Upon completing it, we broke the Malaysia Book of Records.....Read properly r....Not MMU book of records..Its Malaysia...hehe. However, the event was organized in such a way that a minor tournament was held in the morning till evening to occupy the court and during the night, its free play from the organizing committees to do the same thing. 2 video cams was shooting the court by turns as the prove material of the 60 hour event.
One of the nice thing is we get the chance to play on the rubber carpet badminton court. Where you only can see it during major or circuit tournaments in the country.

The condition of the stadium before the tournament starts and er......Mr guy in "white"...I didn't call you to pose when I took this pic....I'm focusing on the stadium....Ignore him please...

Again the stadium but at an angle far from anybody who poses at the sight of a camera..

This is the carpet court I'm talking about...

Spick and span....feel so pro when u step on it....

And I present you.....the famous "cock", a symbol of might of publicity, manufactured by Fleet which is one of the leading badminton brand in Malaysia. TAKE a good look at it....its the biggest "cock" you ever see in the whole world...Well, basically you call it shuttle-cock in the badminton world as the cock is "hit and shuttle up in the air"....but this shuttle cock doesn't fly.....So I think it will be better to call it giant "cock" from Fleet.

This is the environment during the nite....Only few committees around to continue the free play. And we are playing badminton in the early morning of 4am!? Who the hell will be crazy enough to do that.

Resting while taking turns to play.

In the afternoon during the tournament. It seems empty but the crowd came later on.

Me in action( guy in grey)....I took part in the doubles event...but lost in the quarter finals to my MMU teammates.

The lost make me feel kinda devastated.....

I fight so hard....but still I lost the game.....

Was sad for a moment.....

And furious for another moment.....

Didn't thought that I will lose in the quarters and was hoping to advance to the semi..

But oh well.....after some thoughts....It can't be helped.... The only thing I can do is to train harder next time....

Well...this pic was taken during the last day and after the accomplishment of the event....60 hours......and....

Here is the prove!!! Wahlahhhh!!!! Keke
Till then.....will update a new post sooner....
